District Elder Janice Wilson & Deacon Warren Wilson Jr

Pastor Janice R. Wilson  was born in Tuskegee, AL to the Late Bro. Jimmy Hyde Jr. and Late Mother Willie Ruth Hyde. She is married to her loving husband, Deacon Warren Wilson Jr. Together they have 4 beautiful children: Rena Pritchett, LaQuita (Robert) Jackson, Jasmine (Courtney) McMeans, and Jr (Breonna) Wilson. Janice has 6 wonderful grandchildren: Makayla Pritchett, O’Mari Jackson, Robert “SJ” Jackson, Madisyn Wilson, Halo Moorer and Kourtney McMeans; 1 great-grandchild: Kacey Moorer. Pastor Janice also has several godchildren. 

Pastor Janice has been baptized in Jesus’ Name and filled with the Holy Ghost for nearly 30 years. In 1999, she was introduced to the Apostolic Doctrine. She was licensed with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World from 2002 to 2014. Pastor Janice was formerly licensed and ordained with the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International. Pastor Janice faithfully served as one of the very fine college professors for the Apostolic Bible Institute. She served on many auxiliaries and committees. During her 20+ years of ministry, she served in the office of an associate pastor from 2011 to 2021. 

Pastor Wilson was instrumental in developing a childcare development center licensed through the State of Alabama, where she served as director. After many years of serving, praying and seeking the Lord, (then) Associate Pastor Janice Wilson, was sent out by her former pastor. In April 2021, Associate Pastor Wilson became a member of Jesus is Lord of the Apostolic Churches Inc. Presiding Prelate Bishop Gerald A. Anderson and Assistant Presiding Prelate Bishop John L. Thompson, Diocesan. On July 10, 2021, Associate Pastor Janice was installed and affirmed in the office of a Pastor.

Pastor Janice is now the pastor of Abundant Grace Ministries Inc. of the Apostolic Faith located in Millbrook, AL. With the help of the Lord, she trusts and believes that the ministry will continue to grow.  Pastor Janice has a great love for the Lord and His people! She believes the Lord will continue to save souls through the preached Word of God. Pastor Janice truly exemplifies the definition of being God’s servant and takes her position & leadership seriously.
